Jennifer Deramo, MD
Functional and Cosmetic Injectables
DOUBLE BOARD CERTIFIED PHYSICIAN
Jennifer Deramo was born and raised in Central California. She received her undergraduate degree from UCLA and her medical degree from the University of California Davis in 2013 where she met her husband, Paul. She completed her residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas in 2016 and remained to complete her fellowship in Emergency Medicine in 2021. The Deramo family relocated to Park City in the summer of 2021 and reside here with their son and daughter, their lazy cat, their new puppy and their ball python. Jennifer completed injectable training through the Allergan Medical Institute and now enjoys working alongside her husband providing functional (spastic torticollis, cervical dystonia, migraines) and cosmetic (BOTOX® and fillers) injectables.
Jennifer loves to be outside with her family. She has hiked rim to rim across the Grand Canyon, loves to run half marathons, and is enthusiastically exploring her way through Utah’s incredible national parks.
Christy, RN, BSN
Christy grew up in Southern California. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Wellness from Brigham Young University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Roseman University of Health Sciences. She worked at the hospital as a med-surge nurse before joining Dr. Deramo when he started practicing in Utah.
In her free time, Christy enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband and family, catching up on a good show, shopping on Amazon, and baking.
Kim, MA
Medical Assistant and Social Media
Kimberly Manzo was born and raised in Southern California. Kim received her MA certification in 2016. She was working for an OB before her journey with Utah Surgical Associates, where she met & assisted Dr. Deramo and his nurse, Christy. Kim was a float for the nurses at Utah Surgical Associates until she was asked to join the Deramo Plastic Surgery team. Her first language is Spanish — with English being her second language — and she loves to spend her free time with her two little girls, husband & family.
Kara, LPN
Scheduler/Scribe/Chaperone/Procedure Nurse
Kara is our newest team member. She is a true utility player: our scribe, scheduler, chaperone, and assistant during office procedures. She joins us after working with retired physicians and plastic surgeons including the late Dr. Blayne Hirsche. She has a unique connection to Utah Surgical Associates: her father, Dr. Dick Thomas, was one of the group’s founders. She loves being a mom to her three children and the wife of a cowboy.
